1989

Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. was established in 1989, and through the years, has gained the reputation of being a cutting edge developer of industrial estates through its Light Industry & Science Park projects. Today, SPPI is highly regarded as one of the pioneers and leaders in private industrial estate development in the country and has the largest hectarage of industrial estates developed and being developed with almost 800 hectares of aggregate area.

Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. was established in 1989, and through the years, has gained the reputation of being a cutting edge developer of industrial estates through its Light Industry & Science Park projects. Today, SPPI is highly regarded as one of the pioneers and leaders in private industrial estate development in the country and has the largest hectarage of industrial estates developed and being developed with nearly 1500 hectares of aggregate area.

1991

Light Industry & Science Park I (LISP I)

SPPI started the development of its first industrial estate, the 178-hectare Light Industry & Science Park I (LISP I), in Cabuyao, Laguna in 1991, which was sold out by 1995. LISP I was the first privately-owned industrial estate to operate as a Special Export Processing Zone, under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority. SPPI’s second industrial estate, the 69-hectare LISP II located in Calamba, Laguna, started development in 1996 and was sold out in just two years.

1994

Cebu Light Industrial Park (CLIP)

SPPI’s first project in the Visayas Region, a 63-hectare industrial park in Lapu-Lapu City, on Mactan Island, near the Mactan Export Processing Zone 2, and the Mactan International Airport.

1996

Light Industry & Science Park II (LISP II)

Following the success of LISP I, SPPI developed its second project in the CALABARZON Region, a 69-hectare industrial park in Calamba, Laguna. The project was so successful that it was sold out, even before development was completed.

1998

Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park (HEIP)

Following the success of LISP I, SPPI developed its second project in the CALABARZON Region, a 69-hectare industrial park in Calamba, Laguna. The project was so successful that it was sold out, even before development was completed.

1998

Light Industry & Science Park III (LISP III)

SPPI’s third project in the CALABARZON Region, a 124-hectare development in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Its first industrial park integrated to a Residential Subdivision, by SPPI’s affiliate company Pueblo de Oro.

2016

Light Industry & Science Park IV (LISP IV)

SPPI’s fourth project in the CALABARZON Region, located in Malvar, Batangas. LISP IV is part of the Malvar Cybergreen Township co-developed with Pueblo de Oro, a 295-hectare development composed of SPPI’s 247-hectare industrial park, as well commercial, institutional, and residential components.

2025

New Clark City

SPPI’s first project with BCDA, a 100-hectare industrial park located in New Clark City, BCDA’s latest development in the Clark Freeport Zone, with sustainable elements, and smart city features, with close proximity to the Clark International Airport.
